Poor Satan. XP Hmm. He is more furry than I had originally planned.

I was getting a bit tired of cleaning the double page spread for Drifters, and I was starting to see horses even when I closed my eyes, so I figured I'd take a little break and draw this. Haven't drawn Buddy Satan in a while. He needs more love. :D

And no Buddy Satan piece would be complete without some kind of rant from me. So I was looking through today's featured deviation, and saw this. [link] Don't see many religious art featured, as the suggester mentioned so it did catch my eyes. Not quite sure about the "positive religious message" being conveyed here.

I mean, I can empathise with people who create (or, in this case, adopt) an imaginary friend to be some kind of nice entity that help you and be your pal and stuff, but people who adopt an imaginary friend so they can submit themselves to this imaginary entity? Just seems slightly.... pathetic. In my opinion.

Haha. Buddy Satan is meant to be a bit of an oddball really. I mean, he is a coffee-drinking bipedal goat (normally) in a red sweater.

Funnily enough, not really. I've wanted to make him more of a materialistic character. He acts spaced out, but he does enjoy the finer things in life.
